Children’s Day Celebrated at Sri Aurobindo School

“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together make this world is a beautiful garden.” Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh celebrated the Children’s Day with great zeal and fervour to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The day commenced with a special assembly wherein the teachers conducted the assembly from singing prayers to presenting the news and thought for the day. Teachers entertained the students with fun-filled skit, musical medley and mesmerizing dance performance.

The students were overwhelmed with the entire effort. They cheered their teachers on as they saw them on stage.

The children of kindergarten had a wonderful time celebrating Children’s Day. They listened raptly to a lovely story narrated to them with the help of puppets.The tiny tots were gifted with a rose and a chocolate. The Chairman, Mr Arvind Mehan and the Principal, Mrs Garima S Bhardwaj wished the students ‘Happy Children’s Day and encouraged them to dream big and work hard as they are future of the nation.
